I'm Samantha Schofield, I'm a 5'10 Junior Defensive Specialist/Outside Hitter from Huntington Beach, California and I have always had a goal in life to play my favorite sport, volleyball, at a collegiate level. I am a hard-working student athlete who loves improving and playing to my best ability everyday. I am a straight A student and currently hold a 4.0 GPA as a Junior at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, CA.
This past high school season I was the starting outside hitter on the Edison High School's Varsity volleyball team in Huntington Beach, CA.
During last years club season, I played on a very competitive club team known as Orange County Volleyball Club (OCVBC). Out of 250 club teams in my age division in the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA), we were ranked 21! We were also Regionally ranked 17! This year we attended the Arizona Volleyball Festival International Championships Phoenix, AZ and placed 1st out of 80 teams!
Ever since I was young I've always been active in sports. From soccer, softball, basketball, tennis, dance, beach volleyball, and indoor volleyball I tried it all. But volleyball just always stuck with me! Volleyball is the sport I put all my effort, heart, and soul into. As a student athlete I always give 110% effort into my school work and volleyball skills. It has always been my dream to play volleyball at a collegiate level and I work towards this goal each and everyday. I am extremely hardworking, coachable and always wanting to improve and learn more.
