My name is Marielle Jayne Prys. I am 6'2", 150 lbs, and a Junior middle hitter and blocker from Lemoore, California. I will graduate in 2013 from Kings Christian High School. I have 1 year of club volleyball experience with Rock & Roll volleyball club and I plan to continue with club volleyball. I want to start the recruiting process early so that I will get noticed early. I was pulled up from JV, my sophomore year to varsity, for our school's playoff games. We were the 2010 Division 5 Valley Champions, and we went all the way to the southern California Regional Finals. We were also the 2011 Divsion 5 Valley Champions and went to southern California Regional semi-finals. I have played for Kings Christian for three years and I was the team captain and a starter for the Jv team my sophomore year and I received the award for most improved my freshman year and my junior year and the award for best defensive player my sophomore year.I also was a starter on varstiy all through out my Junior year. I played basketball my sophomore year for Kings Christian and I would like to continue playing in high school and in college. I will always be the one yelling and cheering my teammates on in a game to get them fired up and ready to play. I will try my hardest to do what you ask me to do, give it my all, and I will ask you if you are happy with my performance. It is my dream to play volleyball and basketball in college and go on to a professional level. I would like to go to a college outside of California because of the state politics. I would like to go to a school in the south, where I have family, but it doesn't really matter to me. I am very open to different types of schools, and I do not have a big criteria. My family has financial needs so I must pay for college myself, so I would love a scholarship to anywhere for anything. My desired major is nursing because it is very versatile and several people in my family are nurses. My athletic goals are to leave the team, being a better person and player, and to leave the team better than it was before I came. I want to play sports through all my years at college. I want to help the school get noticed by what my team accomplished
