Demari Webb '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Demari Webb, and I am a rising senior at Loma Linda Academy in Southern California. I have played on the varsity volleyball team there for four years now. Some of my other extracurricular activities include hanging out with my friends and family, and volunteering in the children’s programs at church. I currently have a 3.7 GPA, and a 1070 on my SAT; although, I am retaking it again this fall. I plan to major in pre-medicinal studies with an emphasis in either kinesiology or pharmacology. 

    I play club volleyball at Rancho Valley Volleyball Club, and have been on a premier team there since 2015.  In 2015 we won Gold in the American Division at Junior Nationals, and last year my team competed at the Division 1 level during season, and placed 7th at the Junior Olympics in the American Division.  This year we placed 9^th overall in SCVA, and received the silver medal in the USA Division at the SCVA qualifiers in Las Vegas.

    I would be a great candidate for any team because of my leadership skills both on and off the court, and my hard working attitude. I am a highly competitive player who will push my teammates and myself to become better. I am different from other recruits because of my coachable attitude, and my determination to be a great volleyball player and student athlete.
