Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Katie Carroll.  I've been playing volleyball competitively since I was 10 years old and in 5th grade.  Volleyball is my passion, my outlet, and my favorite sport.  I am a setter, and love to make my (hitter) teammates look good by giving them great sets.  I can set all sets at this point, but my favorites are setting all the quick sets.  I also play Oppo on my team and LOVE hitting and blocking in the front row.  I'm a team player, and always want what's best for my team.  I'm also very into my academics.  My current, cumulative weighted GPA is 4.06.  My dream would be to play volleyball at an amazing college.  I'm looking for a team that is hardworking, positive, uplifting, and also who likes to have fun & win!  As of now, I'm really interested in medicine but I'm also open to other majors.  I can't wait to start touring colleges and figuring out the best school for me.
