Personal Statement
My name is Samantha Franco. I currently am a 6'1 ft OH/MH/OPPO at Saint Francis High School and I play on the 17's top team at Mountain View volleyball club. I am really proud of the fact that my high school coach and my club coaches feel confident in having me play all 3 positions in games and at practices. I have worked hard to be a versatile player. I have learned a lot about being open to opportunities from my parents. Both of my parents played college sports and are teachers/coaches and I really think that has helped motivate me to work hard and appreciate my teammates and coaches. I really hope that one day I will be able to play volleyball at the next level and receive a college education. I love the competitive nature of volleyball and the dedication and hard work it requires which creates a bond with my teammates. I currently take all the opportunities that are presented to me to become a better volleyball player for my club team and my off season high school team. I am motivated to improve as an individual which hopefully helps my team as a whole get better.
