My name is Liliana Diaz and I have been playing volleyball for 6 years. I have played several positions and I've learned libero is my passion, even though I am still open to playing front or back row. I love the defensive aspect, but I also love setting and being in charge of an offense.
This sport has brought out some of my strong characteristics on and off the court. I have become a stronger leader and very competitive. I love the feeling of having a connection with a team and being able to play alongside with people I trust which is a type of bond you can rarely find elsewhere. I also bring a positive attitude, lots of energy and communication. I always want to be on the court and play to my best ability. My strong personality and morals have shaped me to be the person I have become and will continue to grow into.
I am looking for a school where I can fulfill my love to learn, play volleyball, and serve my community. Academically, I strive to do my best in classes while still being challenged. I am an AP student, finishing my first senior semester with a 4.2. I want to graduate with a 4.0 or higher all 4 years of high school while still participating in community service. I take a lot of interest in the criminal justice field. I also have specific interests in mathematics and in getting my pilot’s license. Currently, I am drawn to fire science in hopes of becoming a firefighter.
