Winning the Division III Section Championship my sophomore year has been the most memorable thing that has ever happened to me throughout my volleyball career to date.
I started playing volleyball when I was in third grade and I decided to play because it is a big part of who my family is. My Great Uncle was my first coach. At nine years of age, I played on his 12's club team and he instilled in me, the love for the game. My Uncle has coached over 50 years and has been inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame. He has and continues to, influence my play. Volleyball is not just a part of my family.... I truly live for the game!
Throughout my years of playing volleyball, I have learned that I AM a team leader, as I have been a captain on both club and school teams for 8 + years. I help my team to thrive and succeed in believing they can achieve their dreams. Many players will say they give 110%, but I know that as a student-athlete that I ALWAYS give the game my ALL! When I play, I can honestly say that I leave it all on the court! I know that I have what it takes to play at the next level.
