Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Sofie. I am a junior at Sequoia High School(2023), and I play for my volleyball team there. I also play at Encore Volleyball Club in California. I was given the title of captain for my club season and named MVP for my high school varsity team as a freshman.  I think I was chosen for those roles because I am the loudest person I know. 

I want to play in college. My goal is to play at both an academically rigorous school and to compete at a high level. I would love to be an outside hitter but I love to play defense and serve receive, so I am open to the idea of becoming a DS or Libero.
