Lauryn Miramontes '19 Recruiting Profile

I began playing volleyball in 5th grade.  In order to improve my skills, I attended summer leagues, clinics and camps. I began to play club volleyball in 8th grade and since then became a starter player in my school and club teams. My goal is to play collegiate volleyball at a good university. I study hard to maintain a minimum 4.0 GPA and I practice extra hours every week in addition to regular practices so I can be a great player. I find that I always earn the respect of my teammates because I bring my best attitude and skills to the team.  I am different because I know that I can overcome and achieve what I set myself out to do. For example, I am one of two Juniors in the Varsity Volleyball team this year and the starter Libero. I have been working hard all summer doing private practices, conditioning and attending all summer league practices.
