Personal Statement
My name is Georgia Remmers, and my biggest dream since I was 11 years old has been to get the opportunity to play volleyball at the collegiate level. My whole life, I have searched for a purpose, something that will answer all of the questions I have been asking for years, and I have recently come to the realization that volleyball has become not only my purpose, but my passion. Being a left-handed opposite hitter, I contribute well placed hitting, along with strong blocking technique. Although these qualities are very important in the game of volleyball, they are nothing compared to my competitive spirit, and cooperativeness as a team player. While I pride myself as an athlete, I also hold the same amount of pride in the classroom. I am a 3.5 GPA student, and only looking to be better! I am involved in multiple extracurricular activities such as Rocklin’s chamber choir, Associated Student Body, and Track and Field. I believe that I can be a top contributor both on and off the court to any college program that will have me.
