Madelyn Bautista '21 Recruiting Profile

I always strive for the best, whether on the volleyball court or in the classroom. I’ve played 6 competitive years of club volleyball, as well as 3 years of varsity volleyball beginning my freshman year. I enjoy challenging myself and expect nothing but the best of myself on and off the court. While honors and AP classes are demanding, my determination and focus have allowed me to succeed. I am now looking forward to attending a competitive college that will push me both academically and athletically. 

Since the age of 8, I knew that volleyball was the sport for me. I was able to use my quickness and athleticism in pursuit of team goals. As a team captain, volleyball gave me the opportunity to learn leadership skills and how to support my teammates. The long practices and heavy workload created a strong work ethic in me and taught me how to manage my time effectively.

I’m excited for the next phase in my life, where I can mend collegiate volleyball with the pursuit of my educational and career goals.
