I started volleyball in 7th grade. I started with recreational and started taking private lessons at the club the ended up being the first volleyball club I played at. Before that I was a competitive soccer player that played left midfielder and left defender. Being a soccer player helped me come to find the position the fit me best. Being a setter. Always going after the ball. Volleyball is important to me because it makes me happy. I want to continue to play for as long as I can. I want to get better not only for me but for my team as well. I want to study History in college because telling stories is one of my favorite things, and history is simply many stories that teach us lessons about the past and I cant wait to learn more stories in college.
