Piper Corell '21 Recruiting Profile

I grew up in a softball family, so naturally my first sport was softball.  At about 11 years old I told my mom that I didn’t really want to play softball anymore.  That was really hard to do with both of my older sisters playing softball, both earning scholarships to play in college, and my dad having coached for 25 years.  I spent the next two years trying different sports from golf to soccer.  I found volleyball in the 8^th grade by playing for my middle school and that was it.  I fell in love with the sport and began playing in a league and found a club team.  I realized that having found the sport later than most other girls I competed against I would have to work harder, which I was happy to do.  I am a dedicated player and would love to be able to play this sport in college.
