Ever since junior high, volleyball has been my absolute favorite sport (I have also been involved in Track, Basketball, and Cheerleading). My ultimate dream is to play volleyball in college. I have not always been on the best teams, but I know my potential when I play with girls of the same level. As far as individual camps, I am always placed at the highest skill level groups. Also, I have competed in the Colorado State Track Meet every year. My freshman year I qualified and placed in high jump, triple jump, and the 400m dash. Sophomore and Junior years I qualified and placed in high jump, triple jump, 400m dash, and 200m dash (1st in high jump, 2nd in 400m, 3rd in triple, 4th in 200m). I'm not saying I want to do track in college; that's not where my heart is. The point I'm trying to make is that I am an athlete and I do have a lot of potential, CWHS just hasn't had enough good athletes to ever get our teams anywere in the post-season. It has always been my ultimate goal to play in college with a team at or above my skill level so I can finally get the chance to use my abilities to their full potential. I love the game and I have worked hard to improve myself for the sport.
