Samantha Peachey '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sammi Peachey and I am a setter/right side hitter in the class of 2020. I have been playing volleyball for seven years and I'm currently on my fifth year of club volleyball. I participated in multiple sports before I tried my hand at volleyball and when I did, I knew it was not only the sport I wanted to play. Volleyball is not just a game for me, but a passion that will stay with me for years to come. Playing volleyball at the collegiate level would be a once in a lifetime opportunity that I would love to experience. I am an extremely hard worker and I continuously push myself during practices and games. I’m also a motivated team player who is very coachable and gets along with everyone. Additionally, I am a diverse and well-rounded player who has the ability to both set and hit.

I strive to maintain high academic standards and have taken numerous honors and AP classes. I have been a member of my school’s band since the sixth grade and have also participated in the jazz band for several years. I currently play the clarinet in my high school's symphonic band and I am also a member of the French National Honor Society.  Although I am presently undecided on my major and field of study, I want to go to a college that has outstanding academics and a high caliber and competitive athletic program.
