Janna Martinez '22 Recruiting Profile

Going to college and being able to play volleyball has been one of my longest goals. I started playing volleyball when I was 7 years old and I’ve never stopped since then! I love being a part of a volleyball family because it allows me to make strong connections that I can carry with me everywhere. As a teammate I am very involved with the other girls on my team because I make an effort to talk and connect with them off the court. This off court connection with the entire team separates me from other girls because it allows me to understand everyone rather than just those in my circle of friends. As a student I’ve always been dedicated to my academics and because of this I have maintained above a 4.0 GPA throughout High School.
