Personal Statement
I am a hardworking student athlete who loves helping people. My goal is to become a nutritionist/dietitian. I began playing volleyball in 5th grade. So far, 9th and 10th grade I have started JV and at the end of the season I have received “The Most Coachable Athlete”. In 11th grade, I started both JV (Middle) and Varsity (Middle, Opposite/Right Side). For the Spring 2021 season, I lettered. I always put advice into consideration and improved myself both skill wise and attitude wise. When it comes to academics, school is always before athletics. I also help my teammates with schoolwork. My mindset is always “I need to be better then my old self” never “I need to be better then her.” To expand my career choices, I have attended a medical conference in Boston, MA and received college credit for writing a paper reflecting on what I learned. After that conference, the most important lesson I learned is that you can achieve anything no matter how crazy it might seem which is something I put into consideration each and every day. During the school year, I have also been taking college classes and earning college credit. I am looking for a college that treats their students and athletes like family.
