Sage Lechman '23 Recruiting Profile

Since I first stepped on the court, I have always wanted to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change my life. I am hoping to take full advantage of all my learning and other events 

I am a leader. I try to lead by example while also supporting my teammates. I have a very teachable spirit and strive to be one of the hardest working and best players on the court.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 3.5 GPA. Aside from volleyball, I enjoy babysitting, attending rodeos, 4-H events, helping with Wreaths Across America and enjoying my friends and family. 

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college fit for me. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud, as well as a great teammate and person. 

Something I can bring to a team is energy, I go into a match knowing this is anyones game, I can play any spot that needs filled and will give it my whole heart!
