Laryssa Myers '19 Recruiting Profile

        I am very dedicated to volleyball and have been playing for twelve years. I have trained and played every position the past few years and love them all. I started playing when I was 4 years old and fell in love with it! Volleyball has helped me find out a lot about myself. I am a natural leader- people find it easy to come to me and help them out when struggling with anything, I am someone people look to when we are down in a game or if we are frustrated to pick everyone up and make the comeback we believe we can. I have learned that I am very hardworking and driven- I work hard every practice and every chance I get to improve. I've learned a lot about volleyball from playing, along with watching due to previous injuries. I believe both have helped me to get different perspectives on the game.
