Personal Statement
Volleyball has been one of my greatest passions ever since I picked up the ball. My love for competition and dedicated work ethic has led me to develop not only my skills, but also my volleyball IQ. Each time I lace up my shoes, I strive to be a better athlete than I was the day before. Through injury and full recovery I have learned to take absolutely nothing for granted, and inspire my teammates to do the same. With this mindset, I am able to take one point at a time and stay mentally tough.
Academics are extremely important to me, and therefore I am looking to go to a prestigious university. My diligence is evident through my grades, extracurricular activities and leadership on the court. I will be a great asset to any team and look forward to continue to improve as a player. I am a 6 rotation outside hitter, and graduate in 2020.
