Madelyn Whitacre '21 Recruiting Profile

Being selected to be part of the varsity high school volleyball team as a starter my freshman year was such a great feeling and honor. Being nominated as honorable mention from my high school team has very humbling. I feel like I am able to read both sides of the court by picking up on player's positions, skill level and patterns and share with my teammates. I have been working over the last year learning new positions such as setting and middle in additional to hitting.

I am currently undecided on what career path I am interested in pursuing but do know that I am looking to be part of a team that is committed to being the best they can be athletically as well as academically. I believe I have the talent, personality and commitment to compete for a college team. I am confident that I will be the addition you are looking for to compliment your program.
