Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball in the 8th grade and developed such a passion for the sport. I've always had a sense of competitiveness in me and it definitely shows while I'm on the court. I have such a drive for wanting to play in college that it seems almost too good to be true. This is one of those once in a lifetime opportunities you have to work hard for if you want it enough.
I have tough serves to dig up and strong line and across court hits. I have great hand and eye coordination and am always making smart decisions on plays in the game. I'm the player that picks all my team mates up and I act as a leader to all of them knowing they all have talent and determination just like I do.
I don't just work hard on the court I also work hard in school as well. I have gotten plenty of honor roll and principle's list awards for maintaining a high GPA. I also have quite a few awards for extra curricular activities such as theater and art.
I want to be able to go to a college where I can get a great education and play the sport I love so dearly. I want it to be a challenge and make me work for what I want. I am up to go to any college to be honest, as long as I can play and learn I'm happy.
