Alex Knapik '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'-0” Junior Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist playing all six rotations on my 17 Black elite Boomers club team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  I also played six rotations on my State Champion Division 8A Saint Thomas Aquinas High School volleyball team.  I have a 4.0 GPA (4.5 GPA Fall semester), taking AP and honors classes, and scored a 1370 on the SAT.  

I would be a great addition to your team, as I have a strong and focused work ethic, I am a team leader and my coaches look to me to support and encourage my teammates.  I give 110% on and off the court and am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve success.  I manage my time well, I work hard in the classroom and in the gym.  I am always trying to improve my game by participating in extra practices, positional clinics and lessons, conditioning, studying film and watching other hitters, and it shows in my performance on the court.

My college goals are to study business or political science and to play volleyball at a competitive level at a great academic institution.
