Isabelle Baluyot '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play volleyball in the next level, while concentrating of the area of study that will decide my future career. I believe I make a good candidate for my future team because I know I will give my 100% on the court, and on the bench cheering my teammates on. I've been a starter on my teams (even team and/or court captain for all 3 years of club), as well as, sat on the bench at times, so I've seen it from all players' perspectives. I take instruction and constructive criticism well. Also, I am a no-nonsense person when it comes to playing sports, and I tend to speak my mind when I think my team's and my play can be better (in a polite way, of course).  I am primarily a defensive specialist, with some offense experience, so I can pretty much be placed anywhere I'm needed.  As far as academics, I perform above average grades with a weighted GPA above 4.3, while balancing that with Volleyball (HS varsity indoor and beach), volleyball club, and just recently added HS varsity basketball, as well as other extracurricular school and volunteer activities.
