I started playing volleyball at the YMCA but my love for the game grew when I led my junior high school team to a 16-0 season. I consider myself an introvert but I grew as a player and a leader when I was assigned the role of captain. I had to step out of my comfort zone, be more vocal, and motivate my team. Due to being in a military family we relocate often and I have learned to make friends, adapt to new teams, and play different positions.
My high school academic goal is to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher. My main goal for college is to major in great psychology program. Obstacles I’ve had to overcome is adjusting to new surroundings, people, along with different cultures. I have the ability to remain calm when under pressure, be coachable, and motivate others.
Thank you for your time.
