My ideal future would be to play volleyball professionally after college volleyball. I believe I have what it takes to make it there with my skill, but more importantly with my mind set. My friends call it my don't quit mentality, which I apprieciate a lot because I always give my 100% and don't believe in cutting corners. I have also had the experience to know it is crucial to always be selfless on a team.
Another thing I strongly believe in and follow is good sportsmanship. The opposing team doesn't have to be there, and for that we should be thankful they give my team and I the opportunity to play the game we love.
As far as academics go, I have always been a great student. It was not until my ninth grade year that for the first time my grades on my report card showed differently. It was a low point for me mentally which sadly impacted my grades. However, I'm proud to say I have grown out of that and learned so much about myself in the process. Knowing I have overcome that time reminds me how strong I am and that I can do anything I put my mind to. Which is why I believe professional volleyball is for me, and why I think I would make a great addition to a college team.
