Personal Statement
I am an Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist from Viera Florida. I will graduate in the class of 2021.
I am in my Senior year at Viera High School where I have earned three varsity letters-starting and playing all 6 rotations. I earned the achievement of being the leading passer during my JR year high school season passing a 2.0 overall. I am also a member of the Cape Coast All-Conference Team. In addition, for competing with Viera High, I am also a member of the Cape Coast Volleyball Club. Throughout the span of my three- year club volleyball career, I have played on the elite level team and have been named team captain and MVP three years running. My team is extremely competitive, and we have played in tournaments at the Open Level, and also in the American Division.
Through both the wins and losses, I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, dedication, perseverance, and leadership. I believe that I not only have the skills to compete at a collegiate level, but also the dedication and work ethic to have an instant impact on your program.
I am looking at all schools big and small, with a respected educational reputation. I am looking to get my Bachelor's Degree , and my desired field of study is Nursing. I am searching for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I strongly value the educational aspect of the student-athlete experience, as much as the great athletic experiences I hope to be a part of. I want to have an effect on your team and want to find the right balance between the classroom and the court. With the constant push to become better, I am fully ready to engage myself at full speed into your program both academically and athletically.
