Personal Statement

My goal in volleyball is to be the best I can be physically and mentally. I believe that working towards my goal is the only way to get there, so, I will be working my way to play on your team and continue working when I am on your team. I believe collegiate volleyball is just one more milestone to reach in my volleyball career. I am a good candidate for collegiate volleyball because I have the desire to be a part of a family who is competitive and who want to become better players and people overall which matches my goal to become a better person/player myself. Not only am I competitive, I also want to learn more about the game of volleyball. I want to become what I see on college teams when they play. I don't look at volleyball as just a physical game, it's also a mental game. I like taking advantage of that mental side because most players just focus on the physical.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Bring it Promotions, LLC has selected ten players who will compete as the u17 BIP SE All Star Team during a tour of Europe slated for July 5-15. The squad features the following college committed players: Libero Marley Banton (St. Augustine, FL-MTSU), Setter Malea Stanton (Culver City, CA-University of Albany), and Outside Hitter Abrielle Bross (Manhattan Beach, CA -UC Santa Barbara). The U17 squad will also feature Outside Hitters Noemi Talton (DeLand, FL-Top Select) and Jaida Hodge-Adams (Tarzana, CA-Surfside VBC), Middle Blockers Madeline Cardenas (Redondo Beach, CA-Surfside VBC), and Emily Sheperis (Jacksonville, FL-Jacksonville Juniors), Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist Logan Mignerey (Ponte Vedra, FL-Jacksonville Juniors), and Setter/Opposite Caitlin Frazee (Marietta, GA-A5). The tour will begin in Munich, Germany where the team will have an opportunity to spend the afternoon site seeing, before heading to Innsbruck, Austria. While in Innsbruck, teams will be able to site see all morning before their first team practices in the afternoon. After Innsbruck, the team will be traveling to Torento, Italy where they will compete in a friendly match and visit the local sites. From Torento, the team will head to Pula, Croatia to take part in the 2018 European Global Challenge Opening Ceremonies. The four-day tournament is held July 10th -13th and will feature national-select teams from the United States, as well as junior national teams and elite women’s club teams from all across Europe. Bring it Promotions, under the ownership of Tim Kelly, will be managing the All Star Team and has been running the Global Challenge since 2005.
