Personal Statement
My name is Ashton Whearley, my passion is volleyball and it has been ever since I started playing when I was 7 years old. I am a team player on and off the court. I work hard for what I want to achieve. On every team I have been on, everyone has been able to come to me for tips on how to improve. When I am playing, I uplift my teammates and cheer them on as we have fun playing the sport we love. Mistakes don’t matter in volleyball, it's the reaction that has a bigger impact. I have learned to use my mistakes for improvement. I have always dreamed of playing volleyball on a more competitive level.
