Personal Statement
My goal is to play at the highest level in college for an established program that would also be an academic fit for me. Being a part of my high school team that has won 3 straight state championships, a National Championship in 2017 and playing as a starter on the top club team in the state of Georgia in my age group for the past 5 years has definitely equipped me with the skills, discipline, training, teamwork, drive, and passion to play for a program such as yours. I have also overcome some challenges off of the court in my personal life that have prepared me to handle adversity and to make the best of those situations and turn them into a positive.
Volleyball is a huge part of who I am from the obvious in my training, practicing, and competing to the relationships with my teammates and coaches. The opportunities that lie ahead for me and the places that volleyball can take me are so exciting!! I am accustomed to training with the best, playing with the best on my team and against my opponents, pushing myself beyond what I thought possible, dedicating my time between my sport and academics as well as carving out much needed time for family and community. I know that I would be an asset to your program!
