Personal Statement
Aloha,
My name is Kody Wengler and I have 5 sisters and 1 brother, including a twin. Being blessed with people constantly around me has given me the social skills needed to thrive in different situations. It has also motivated me to work hard, be competitive, and strive to build-up the people around me. I have played many different sports and continue to play basketball for school but my true passion is volleyball. At 5’ 5” I was the shortest high school varsity outside hitter but that did not stop me from going out on to the court with confidence and composure. I love to compete and will play any position my team needs me to play. Last year, I transitioned to the Libero position for my club team. I know that I will not be playing front row in college so I am working hard on developing my passing, serving and defensive skills.
