Hello my name is Destiny,I have played sports competitively my entire life. I have competed in swimming, softball, basketball, volleyball and also played second base on the boys varsity baseball team when we didn't have enough girls for a softball team.when we did have enough for a softball team I was a pitcher and played second base and voted most improved my freshman year. I have been a varsity setter for my volleyball team with two trips to state and a fourth place finish in 2012 at the 1A division 1 state tournament. I was the team captain my senior year in volleyball and voted most valuable player and most inspirational in volleyball I was also selected by the league coaches to play in the state allstar game,I am also still waiting to play my senior basketball and softball season. I also play varsity basketball some post some guard and have been to state the last three years with two second place finishes and last year state champions for the first time in my school history. I also hold a school record in pole vaulting, I love playing sports. My coach tells me I have the best hands she has ever seen and if I was a little taller I could play anywhere. Well I think I will just have to try at this height, I think I am capable of playing several different sports but your profile said pick one so I checked volleyball but I wouldn't mind softball, volleyball, or basketball. I love school but I especially love math. I won the calculus award my junior year and have a 3.762 GPA and am in the running for valedictorian, I would like to become an electrical engineer with a background in power so maybe I could work for one of the large power companies. I think I am capable of a lot more than I can accomplish here and would love a chance to prove it, I feel I am easy to coach and love learning new ways of accomplishing goals. I love working out and am the strongest girl in my school as a matter of fact I can lift more weight than most of the boys, especially my legs. My dad always said don't let anyone tell you to do things like a girl just do what you want and run over anyone that tries to stop you. So I hope I have a chance at college sports.Thank you Destiny Jennings
