Leyah De Souza '21 Recruiting Profile

  I love this sport and I am soon excited to keep playing throughout my college experience. I have always been a hard worker and good teammate. I have had much experience with playing in new and different environments, being that I have moved across the state of Idaho to play in a more competitive level of volleyball with more opportunities for exposure. Being half Brazilian, I have been able to be exposed to different coaching styles with my dad and his coaches being my coaches most of my career. I have been very successful academically as well, maintaining a 3.9-4.0 GPA throughout all of my education. I look forward to an intense and great volleyball program while studying to be an engineer either in the biochemical field or in constructional/civil field.
