Personal Statement

I love playing volleyball and feel like I'm only starting to learn all there is about the game. I committed myself to my team for four years and want the opportunity to commit for another four. I know what committment means as I gave up the title of Priest River Distinguished Young Woman for my team and the opportunity to perfect what we had in our goals of winning a state trophy. I want to play volleyball for as long as I can in a competetive setting and be a part of a team that shares the same passion for competition in the sport I love. My original youtube video is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYQvr_SH2LI or type in "Melissa Trost" My longterm goal is to go on to Radiology school after majoring in Kinesiology. Academics are very important and I plan on being in the top of my class as an undergraduate student. I’m looking to meet new people and experience a place with diversity so I can gain new cultural experiences.
