Personal Statement

My biggest goal in life is to play professional sports. The first step to playing professional is playing at a collegiate level. While playing in college I would like to study Marine Biology, Geology, or Wildlife Photography just in case I don’t play professionally. Really anything involving the outdoors or activeness is what interests me.

I first started playing volleyball in 3rd grade. It wasn’t until my 8th grade year that I discover the fun in Club  Volleyball and realized that was what I wanted to spend my life doing.  I am always putting in extra practice hours and practically live on the court. I work my hardest to be the best at what I do, and always strive for perfection.

My freshman year of volleyball I made Varsity and was awarded most improved. My sophomore year, I was awarded the coaches award for working hard and again, striving for perfection. I always work to help my team mates and be an exemplary player. I even spend time helping my team outside of practice with honing their skills. I like being a player people can rely on and come to for help. I love seeing others succeed.

My grades stay at a 4.0 and I am ranked first in my class.  My educational goal is to be valedictorian, which I am well on my way of being because I have already started taking college classes.  I’m ASB President and when work is needed to be done, I am always reliable to accomplish it. I also volunteer at our local animal shelter along with other community events throughout the year.

I believe I am a good candidate for your team because I always give it 100% no matter what. I feel that with my work ethic, I will be a valuable member  to your team’s success if you will give me the opportunity to play for you.
