My passion for volleyball has grown throughout the years that I have played and it has always been my dream to play in college. I would like to go to a school that will help me prepare for life after school. I have always wanted to become a teacher to inspire other kids to do their best. I've always loved working with kids and I have recently started coaching volleyball for 3rd to 5th graders at Sports Performance. Additionally, throughout middle school, I was involved in Peer Partners, which is a club that would help out with the special education classes.
I have played violin for seven years and it has helped me to learn how to balance extracurricular activities and my class work. It has also helped to form a work ethic that I have used in volleyball. I’m a competitive person on the court and in the classroom. I’m a dedicated student athlete who always gives my best effort in everything I do with a positive attitude while encouraging others. Just like an orchestra is not complete without all of its members playing at their best, I believe that is also true in volleyball. I have taken the leadership role that I have in orchestra and use that to help and encourage my teammates on the court as well. Being a student athlete comes with challenges as it is, this has helped to motivate me in completing AP classes and performing in orchestra. The challenges that come with a student athlete who is involved in music and AP classes motivate me to do the best that I can.
