Sydney Dorsey-Rencher '17 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to become a professional athlete, and to get a scholarship in the thing I love most which is volleyball. My long- term goal is to become a role model to little girls across the nation. I want them to view me as a woman who is very determined, and never gives up no matter what the circumstance are.  Also, I want them to know that whatever you set your mind to you can achieve it , or that no matter how many odds are stacked against you there is still hope for a bright future.  My personal goal is to be the first person in my family to chase their dream. For example, I want to be the first person to graduate college and keep creating success afterwards. I want my family to think of me as a fighter and a go-getter type of person . A person who never took no for a answer from a person who was in the way of my dreams. My biggest aspiration is to be accepted into college , and play at the next level. I will always push, do my best, and never give up on my dream until I have completed my dream.
