Brelyn Riesberg '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello.  My name Brelyn Riesberg, I am a Junior (2025) and the libero for the varsity team at Judah Christian High School in Champaign, IL. I have been playing volleyball since the 5th grade at Judah and started club ball at Illini Elite in 6^th grade.

The past 2 high school seasons I was ECIC first team all conference libero.  This past season, our team finished 28-2 and were ECIC conference champs and won regionals for the first time in school history.  I am currently in my second season at Primetime Volleyball Club in Champaign, IL.  Last year i was on the 16U travel team and this year will be on the 18U White team.

I currently have a 4.71 GPA.  My current classes include 2 math classes: Honors Algebra 2 with Trigonometry and Business Math, plus Honors Chemistry.  Besides volleyball, I was on a swim club team for many years, butterfly was my best stroke and played club tennis as well. My freshman year I played soccer for the first time on our varsity team. 

Volleyball has been my passion since I started playing and I work hard on and off the court to get better.  I watch video of my games to see how I can improve and what we can do better as a team.  I not only have a passion to play, but a passion to win and will do whatever it takes to not let the ball hit the floor.
