My name is Kayla Brandon. I am a 5'8" college sophomore from Champaign, Illinois. I am currently a DS at Parkland College, where we just placed second at the national tournament. My goal after Parkland is to move on to a 4 year university to continue my academic & athletic career. I have been told by all of my coaches that my volleyball IQ & court awareness are top notch. I am known to keep a cool head most of the time, I am not the super loud & in your face player. My teammates see me as someone they can count on to come out & handle business, while also being a backbone to those on the court who need a little extra encouragement. I am a hard worker & fight for everything I have. I know that at any moment my spot can be taken from me, & that is what pushes me to work for it every single day & take nothing for granted.
This last season at Parkland I finished with 424 digs, averaging 4.20 digs per set. I also finished 3rd in the nation with 48 service aces. I am looking for a program that will help me continue to grow as a player & a person. I am looking for a program that pushes me to be better on & off the court.
