As a volleyball player since 4th grade, my passion for the game only continues to grow and enhance as I compete on a more competitive and cut-throat level. I would describe myself as a well-rounded, self-motivated, and diligent individual who strives for success with any task at hand. Not only does my skill show on the court, but my positive, encouraging attitude and great desire to grow. I have played for multiple teams, and no matter how many games we lose or mistakes we make, I take every opportunity in front of me as a way to become a better person and athlete. Academics is one of the most important things to me, and the honors, AP, and high level classes I take in my school are always my top priority, and I hold my 4.6 GPA to a high esteem and one of my greatest accomplishments. I strive for greatness and success in the classroom and value my performance in education, such as by putting my grades over everything and working to earn opportunities through my school to develop more connections with people around the country.
Volleyball itself, and all aspects of my busy lifestyle have helped me to grow as an individual. Specifically, the wins and loses, such as being there for my teammates when they need some encouragement and viewing a loss as a learning experience and evaluation of where I need to improve in my game. Personally, I believe that volleyball has taught me time management, self discipline and structure, influenced my physical and mental health, and given me a family of girls who want to grow just like myself
