Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball in the 5th grade and even though I wasn’t the best at first but I still loved the sport with a passion and knew I’d want to be fully committed to volleyball. My coach from freshmen year would always motivate me and push me to do the best I could because he saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. When I attended Roger C. Sullivan freshman year, we were 2nd in our division which moved us up another division for the next year. The beginning of my sophomore year, I played with Sullivan for most of the volleyball season then transferred to Northtown Academy. I wasn’t able to play for Northtown but I did still practice with my previous coach.
I am always determined to improve my skills because I love a challenge. I’m very energetic and I always have a positive attitude on and off the court. In college, I’d want to major in Electrical Engineering because I’ve always been interested in technology of any sort from computers to phones, etc. I hope to find a school that can bring me to my full potential and where I can succeed not only as a player but as a student and person.
