Some goals that I have for college include bettering myself as a person, becoming more independent and finding exactly what I want to do in life by exploring all my options and various classes that might lead me to a conclusion. I believe I am a great candidate for any team, because I am always working hard to help improve myself and my fellow teammates, through encouragement, advice, and a positive mindset. As a captain on Junior Varsity Freshman year, and a captain now on Varsity Junior year, I feel this reflects the respect my fellow players have for me, as well as my coach. I am constantly cheering the team on during games, and I make a special effort to encourage and lift up the players around me. I am focused and extremely driven to keep getting better, by making goals and striving to achieve and exceed them. This is shown in me not only on the court, but also in school and in life in general. Academically, I have always tried to attain the best grades and learn the most that I could, while still challenging myself by taking difficult courses, like APs.
