Personal Statement
Unlike most athletes I didn't grow up playing any sport. In such a short period of time it took me a long time to get to where I am today, learning the fundamental and the key to a sport at such a late start of age. But I didn't give up, I kept trying until I proved to everyone that this is the court I wanted to be on. I dream of getting a full ride scholarship to any school that will benefit me for volleyball, and also for my academics. I'm a hard working student and athlete, I plan on not only going to the best college for my sport but one that will also support my long time career dream on becoming a surgeon. I do nothing but study and work crazy hard on and off the court. My goals are very simple, work hard enough, get better enough, and try good enough to be noticed by the best. What makes me a good player is my personality and energy, volleyball is a team sport, which means make sure to include all your teammates in your purpose. I'm determined to always have a good mindset and good actions because anything I do, or say, or think not only affects and reflects on me, but also it affects my team. I'm locked in once I step into the court. I come ready and prepared mentally, physically and emotionally. I'm independent and set and stoned on whatever I put my mind too. That's what makes me stand out from other athletes and my peers. I just I like the competition of the sport, I like the rush and the excitement, I play to have fun. But not only that I also get the ability to show how talented and well I handle the ball as a front row player.
