Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Gyllian Davies and I would like to take a minute and tell you a little bit about myself. I am a very competitive person who likes to lead by example on and off the court. But, I also have the drive and want to learn everyday whether it be from my peers or my coaches. I believe in the saying, "anything you put your mind to, you can do." I am a versatile player and my natural positions on the court is, outside hitter, right-side hitter, and defensive specialist. At the beginning of the season this year my varsity coach asked me if I wanted to be a middle hitter, so I stepped up and learned that new position. Along with volleyball. I play varsity basketball as a shooting guard and I play varsity softball as a outfielder. Some of my best qualities on the court would be my quickness, toughness, my will to win, and my team first mentality. My goal in my academic career is to be a college volleyball player and a pediatrician. I look forward to what this process will bring.
