I have played Volleyball since 3rd grade and strive to keep playing as long as I am able. I have been specialized as a Setter my entire volleyball career, as well as playing Middle hitter three Club seasons ago and my 8th grade school season. I have adapted to any position my coaches have requested of me.
I currently am interested in a career in Bio-Medical Engineering. I attended, as a Delegate, the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Congress at UMASS in June 2019. I feel the calling to major in Engineering with an emphasis in medicine. I have always felt drawn to the Wounded Warrior Projects, since my father has been in the Army for 20 plus years. I would love to work with wounded warriors and create prosthetics for those in need.
As an 8th grader at South Central Middle school, I was a member of the 2018 Lady Falcons volleyball team. Together as a team, we were the IESA 8-2A Regional 16 Champions and the IESA 8-2A Sectional 8 Champions.
I was a member of the 2018 Lady Cougar Volleyball team at South Central High School. I was selected as 1 of only 2 freshmen to play on the JV team for the 2018-2019 school year. I was the setter for the JV and Varsity school teams during the fall 2019 season of my sophomore year at SCHS. I am a Setter and Right Side Hitter. I am currently in my 4th season with Air Assault Volleyball Club as a setter on AAVC 18J.
I will journey to Australia in the summer of 2021 with Team Illinois to play volleyball.
My family is very supportive of all I do. My mom is my biggest supporter! My dad has always been my Hero, this summer my dad will deploy for 9-11 months. He has served 20+ years and has always cheered me on no matter where he was in the world!
