My mission in volleyball is to show the world that a right-side player is in reality, the "strong" side because of the element of surprise a lefty brings to the game. With my huge blocks and lefty kills I shut down my opponent's offense! When I was younger I trained in martial arts where defense was taught. It was in Tae Kwon Do that I developed quick reflexes, agility, strong leg strength, and great jumping ability! Because I'm quick on my feet, I also make an indomitable back-row player. My highschool varsity coach uses me for both front and back-row play. Another thing about me is that I am a fierce competitor--I hate to lose. I never lose a joust at the net because of my determination of never to allow it--I have to win it! I thrive on high pressure points. I have been involved in tournament competition such as Junior Olympics since I was very young and am used to "making it happen" when I need to. A favorite motto of mine is "Winners Make It Happen and Losers Let It Happen!" I belong to a nationally ranked volleyball club known as 1st Alliance where hard work, dedication, and a commitment to volleyball are highly valued traits among its players. Being part of such a select group makes me feel proud to know that my goal of becoming the best volleyball player I can be is supported by such a club. My hope for the future is to also play for a college team that is just as committed to achieving greatness in volleyball as I personally am. I hope you consider me to become a part of your team!
