Cortney McCoskey '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cortney McCoskey and I am an outside/right side hitter. I am happy to say that I have been playing volleyball for 8 years and continuing to play on would be a dream of mine. During practice I strive to make myself a better player but also make my team better as well. I am a well rounded player and I am able to play anywhere I am placed. I see myself being a good candidate for your team because I am a very outgoing person and I love to have fun, especially playing volleyball. Volleyball has taught me how to overcome adversity, lead with good leadership, learn to build off criticism and setting goals on the court and in daily life. It has also taught me that you will not always win in life and that's okay. You learn from your mistakes, fix them and move on. I have been selected to play on high level volleyball teams and am proud of the awards and titles I have gotten in my 8 years of playing.
