Lauren Jansen '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Jansen.

I am a Junior at Plainfield North High School, and will be graduating in the Class of 2023.  My current GPA is 5.75 on a 5 point scale, and my class rank is 11/599. I have taken the ACT once, and scored a 30.

I am a 5’11”, outside hitter/ full rotation player.  During my Sophomore school season as a Varsity starter at Plainfield North, I was voted Southwest Prairie All-Conference, Offensive Player of the Year, and was selected to the News-Gazette All-State Team. During my most recent Junior school season I was a Varsity captain. I also made the All-Tournament team at both the Wheaton Classic and the Crossroads Classic. In addition, I was voted All-Conference, made the Illinois Prep All-State Team, was selected to the Herald News All-Area Team and the News-Gazette All-State Team, and was named a Varsity captain for next season. During the postseason my team won our Class 4A Regional and beat Benet Academy in the Sectional Semi-Finals, but unfortunately lost a tight match to eventual State Champion Metea Valley in the Sectional Finals.

Last club season, I played for Sports Performance, and was on 16 C-Fed. My team won the 16 premier division at JVAs, and finished second in gold at AAUs. I also received an AAU All-Star Award! This year I am on 17-Elite (Marshall).
