Maisie Green '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I am a 6' 1 " middle and a high school senior graduating in May 2022 with a strong desire to play volleyball in college. For the 2022-23 season, I have committed to Rock Valley College (DII NJCAA). I plan to play volleyball all throughout my college years and I am looking to be recruited for my Junior and Senior years of college (2024 and 2025)  with an excellent academic reputation and preference going to a Christian school in the midwest. 

I have have been playing volleyball since I was 4 and when I was 11, I began playing club ball with Rockford Volleyball Association as a middle. For my high school career, I played 3 years of varsity volleyball for Christian Life High School in Rockford, IL. During my junior and senior year, we were Conference Champs and 2nd place in my sophomore year.  In 2020 and 2021,  I was named First-Team All-Conference and in 2021 I was the runner-up All-Conference Most Valuable Player (MVP).  

My strengths are blocking, hitting, and serving. In addition, I like to think of myself as a level-headed person and that translates to the court. I am everyone's cheerleader and a positive teammate. My other hobbies include baking and reading.

My academic interests are in the field of business, archaeology, anthropology, and history. I am currently homeschooled and attend Emmaus Academy Co-Op and Christian Life High School, where I also played varsity volleyball. I work hard to keep my grades up and I have a 3.96/4.0 GPA with all of my courses.
