Maggie Essmann '21 Recruiting Profile

    I am very passionate about volleyball, and the way it plays a role in my life.  I started playing in 3rd grade, and joined at the club level in 6th grade. Outside of volleyball, I am a diligent student at Wheaton Academy where I am enrolled in many Honors classes, and will take AP classes Junior year.  Not only do I appreciate my school, it offers me the opportunity to enjoy my other favorite hobby of traveling! I recently returned from a trip to several European countries, and have also been to China, Russia, Central and South America.  Off the court, you can find me in my library of books or serving with my family at church. One of my goals in college is to study abroad and continue expanding my views of the world and other cultures. I am looking for a great school where I can study Business Administration and Accounting, with an environment where teachers understand and engage with their students, and also prepares me for the next phase of my life.
